unable to install.. I don't have root access

I just purchesed sitebuilder
I don't have root access to linux
just have normal SSH user account

I install from tar and autoinstaller
I have this error

"error: can't create transaction lock on /var/lock/rpm/transaction"

rpm -Uhv updates/*.rpm

error: cannot get exclusive lock on /var/lib/rpm/Packages
error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - Operation not permitted (1)

how can i install ?

is it possible to install by using ftp ?
or normal linux account ?
