Hi Guys
I need to perform the tasks in the article below
http://kb.parallels.com/en/112538
O/S: windows 2008 r2
webserver: IIS 7
hosting: VPS
Plesk:10.2
Plesk dbs: mysql
However, my plesk install on a vps from a well know hosting co,
1, does not accept the plesk login (presume thats the admin) password
2, does not obey the mysql.com password reset procedure
3, related to 2 above , mysql never restarts via command line whether i use mysqld-nt.exe or mysqld.exe, it only restarts via windows service restart, or netstart
4, I also tried
user : mysql -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` psa
via ssh to no avail
5, --skip-grant-tables doesn't appear to work, whether via command line or windows services module
6, have 2 vps servers, and tried to login to plesk db on both, as both have different issues, all attempts
failed to date.
7, By an large this vps is generally ok, and I don't want to nuke it if I can help it
I do need help, thanks
