Resolved Unable to restore backup

I am trying to restore a mailbox from the latest backup trough the Plesk Backup Manager GUI. However when trying I run into the error

Perhaps /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/deployer application missing, has incorrect permissions or unexpectedly terminated

Not a lot of information. The backup archive is about 5.21 G in size.

Any suggestions what may causes this error and how to troubleshoot this?

This may be a good starting point to debug your problem. Make sure you adjust the command to your Plesk version + OS
