• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

Hi there,
I'm running Plex Obsidian 18.0.39 on ubuntu 18.04. For some reason when i select php options under my domains I can't select a different version of php.

If i check under PHP Settings I have several versions of PHP installed

but when I go under "services" it says that the service is not configured and I can't start it

Am I doing something wrong?

Did you check the "Service plans" permissions tab? There should be a "PHP version and handler management":

- Go to "Services Plans"

- Click on the service plan you're using
- Click on "Permissions"

If you don't see "Service Plans", you are using the "Power User view".
In that case you have to switch to "Service Provider view".

I don't have access to those views.
I have a vps with root access, but plesk was installed by my hosting provider.
Should I ask to my hosting provider or do I have a way to enable it by myself?

Huh? If you have access to the PHP-section like in your first post, than you should have access to the service plans.
If not, please ask your hosting provider to alter your rights to manage the Plesk installation.
