Unable to update from Plesk Panel

Manuel_Caramia

Regular Pleskian
Hi, after doing the upgrade to v12.0.18 when I go in : tools , updates the page does not load . I added to the firewall port 8447 but nothing . can you help me please?

Usually it occurs when port 8447 is firewalled. Are you sure that this port is not blocked?

Yes from ssh with my account root I launched this commando:
sudo iptables -A INPUT -p TCP --dport 8447 -j ACCEPT
Is it correct?

I have the same problem. I use the firewall from Plesk panel and I added the tcp port but it doesn't work and if I use personal iptables I have the same problem.

The problem is that if I enable the updating of mysql and php plesk panel does not work . And if I open Tools / Updates page remains white despite having enabled the port 8447. I also have another problem , it is possible that after enabling CloudFlare I can no longer access the databases from the interface phpmyadmin ? Even in that case, the page is white .
Now I cannot access in ssh. How is it possibile? This is very very serious!!!

You have firewalled SSH port 22 or disabled SSH service for some reason. Try to completely disable firewall, setup all that you need and then enable and configure your firewall rules.

Now it works. I have disabilited iptables and now i use only plesk's firewall and the update's page is working.
I have another question. How is it possibile that if I install joomla with apache it doesn't work? And with nginx it works? Thanks

Ok.now it is ok. Now I have two problems. Can you help? The first is that is impossible to upgrade mysql during daily updating and the second is that if I install Joomla with Apache it doesn't work but if I change with fast-cgi it works thanks.
