Hello,
I'm trying to update Plesk version from Version 18.0.62 Update #2 to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64 and I'm getting the error below:

Please let me know how to resolve this?

Some windows guide for 1603 is asking to remove the Visual C++ and manually install them but I'm afraid it may cause issues with the programs installed and live websites/emails.

In addition, I have restarted the server and installed the latest Windows server updates. No new update at this moment.

Is this a known issue?

If the server is a virtual server I would suggest making a snapshot of the server first then proceed to uninstalling Visual C++ redistributes and reinstall it manually and see what happens, of course you'll want to do this off hours when it'll least impact your clients and if anything happens you can restore from the snapshot.

Thanks for your reply.

The server is a bare-metal server with a lots of accounts. Restoring the whole server backup will take a few days, so I'm checking other possible options.

What I can suggest is to try to manually run vcredist170-14.40.33810_x64.exe from the C:\ProgramData\Plesk\Installer\cache\pool\release\PLESK-WIN_18.0.64_15562\thirdparty-windows-x86_64\ directory. If that doesn't help, the next best action is to consider getting in touch with our support team so they can connect to the server and further review why the installation of the component fails.

Thank you so much. The steps you have provided worked. Visual c++ is asking to reboot after the installation. Then the Plesk update or upgrade works fine.
