Uninstall Dr Web

I have researched how to uninstall Dr Web from my server, however, none of the commands I have tried have worked.

I tried rpm -e drweb it didnt work.

Can someone please point me in the right direction.

I tried that and it didnt work. I received this message:

cant create transaction lock on /var/lib/rpm/.rpm.lock (permission denied)

Hi bfree74,

some commands has to be performed as "root", or with the "su" - command. Please make sure, that there are no other processes running, which may interfear to your desired uninstall - process.
You can as well uninstall packages on CentOS/RHEL - based systems using "yum".
