Hi,
I recently successfully updated (using Update feature in Plesk 9.3) my panel to version 10.
On my VPS, we want to run CMS systems based on PHP (including Silverstripe.org) that require a PHP of at least 5.2.x.
When i login through SSH, and type php -v i see that PHP 5.1.6 is installed (same version as before update 9.3->10).
I though updateing to Plesk 10 would "give" me PHP 5.2 or 5.3.
What should be done in order to have php (for our apache server) higher than 5.1.6 ?
Tried following some tutorials online (including atomicorp.com) but either couldnt install higher php or once when i managed to get it installed, i couldnt login to Plesk Panel, which was 9.3 back then).
Please help. I just cant understand this, why standard php scripts like Silverstripe or Joomla cant get installed because of php version. I never had any problems with this, when i was using standard hosting.
Regards,
