• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Updating Application Pack?

With the neverending PHP security issues, I've found myself not trusting the application pack which comes with Plesk Plus. I only use about 4 of those applications, but end up installing them via FTP rather than via the application vault.

I would like to know how to update those affected programs so that they still install via the application vault.

Most recently, the Mare.D worm has affected PHP programs. Yet Plesk advised me today that they do not update the programs in the pack unless there is a major release, not just a patch.

Thats something I'm also interested in.
I use Plesk 7.5.4 at the moment,
and almost all Applications in the Application are outdated, even though Plesk Updater says it is up to date.
Is there a way to get them updated, or do I have to install them by my own?
