• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Im tryiing to patch my freebsd system but this error comes out:

To continue installing, you should install Perl 5.008007 (ou have Perl 5.008008 installed)

Is there any work around to this problem? I dont want to downgrade perl i have some other ports depending on the newest version.

Thanks for your help

We used to run accross this on our FBSD box before switching over to Red Hat. If you installed the newer version via ports, just do "use.perl system" (I think it's system)... then run use.perl port once it's been upgraded.

Dindt work

I did what you suggested and it didnt solve the problem, one thing I noticed is that the output changed :

Installation of this Plesk distribution requires that Perl 5.008007 version be installed on the server!

Once again, im running fbsd with the latest version of perl ( 5.008008 ) and I would like to patch my plesk withouth downgrading perl , any more ideas?

Thanks
