Upgrade PHP Version on Plesk & Ubuntu Hardy

Hello,
I'm blocked for my PHP. I need to upgrade my PHP version to 5.3 or at least more than the actual 5.2.4.
I only found on internet YUM tool that i can't use since i get message about CelementTree & doesn't sound good.
Thank you to tell me how i can do this.
