  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Upgrade to 9.2.1 & no longer getting internal emails

I upgraded from 9.0.2 to 9.2.1 last night and i am still struggling to fix this problem. Emails sent from one address under a domain to another address on that same domain are not delivered nor bounced. However, if the email has an attachment it is delivered. Emails sent from one domain to another domain on this server work fine as do emails sent to domains not on this server.

I've turn off all spam protection and deleted/modified SPF records to see if that was it. Any ideas?

the maillog is empty. no trace of the email in the mail queue either. I've been doing more testing. Some internal emails are getting through. For example, in some cases, [email protected] can send an email to [email protected], but not the reverse. No bounces or any record of the email anywhere as far as I can tell. thanks.

How about in the maillog at /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog any errors?

now we're getting somewhere. Here the error that is generate by my test emails. I changed the domain name in this message.

Uninstall the Dr. Web extension or install a licence for it then see how you go.

It might also be worthwhile to run /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --with-spam - it does not take long and may help to sort the issue out.

I uninstalled dr web and it worked. I've been using plesk with dr. web for years. Now, all of a sudden we need a separate license? It would have been nice if Plesk warned me that I was using software without a license, or better yet, it shouldn't have allowed me to use something if I didn't have a license for it.
