• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Upgradeing PHP/MySQL Question

I need someone to confirm this: my hosting provider (I won't mention names) claims that the following setup is not compatible:

They have Plesk 8.0.1 and Apache 2.0.52-22

Upgrade PHP 4.4.2 from 4.3.9
Upgrade MySQL 5.0.22 from 4.1.12

This is a VPS running under Virtuozzo so their are no other clients to consider.

I just wanted to know if this is true, because I've been having my doudts with these people lately.

Thanks in advance,
Brad
