  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello.

How do I upgrade to Apache 2.15?

My system is :

CPU: AuthenticAMD, Quad-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 2352
Versión: Parallels Plesk Panel v9.3.0_build93091230.07 os_SuSE 11.0
OS: Linux 2.6.25.20-0.5-default

Thanks in advance.

Can you get source packages for your OS?

I am already running 2.2.15 on Fedora 11. I took the 2.2.14 srpm, edited the spec file and rpmbuilt 2.2.15.

Not familiar with your OS, but it's pretty easy.

If your httpd is old, you will also may have to build updated apr and apr-util packages as httpd needs current version past 2.2.12.

I also maintain a friends server on fc7, running mysql 5.1.42, php-5.3.2 and httpd-2.2.15

DONE! Now I have Apache 2.15 running!

Perfect!

I used a Putty terminal to enter to the system. Then I started 'yast'.
Then I upgraded apache to 2.15 version.

Thanks a lot!
