Upgrading from 8.4.0 to 8.6 ?

ryanz

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

The first question, will this upgrade solve the Mail Redirect and Mail Group problems without causing others?

Is it possible to upgrade a 8.4.0 system installed using the Plesk Auto-Installer and upgraded to the latest packages using ART's yum repo without breaking anything or having serious reconfig errors by means of the Control Panel or Auto-Installer?

Are the httpsd errors reported in this forum isolated or is there a problem with 8.6 ?

My thoughts exactly, which is why i am going to let it soak for a bit before attempting to upgrade.

Went smoothly for me. I let it upgrade the default ticked options. You get one e-mail instantly, and then the other when its finished around 40 minutes later. I then went back to the updater and upgraded the other components (Mailman, spam assassin) and something else. Same 2 emails around 20 minutes later. Did a yum update but didnt have anything to update. I've got clamav installed from Art.

Mail seems to work OK. I've even turned domain keys on a couple of domains and its not complaining. Result !!

I tried to upgrade to Plesk 8.6 today from 8.4 and it killed my phpmyadmin, so for me it was anything but smooth. I'm still trying to get it resolved hours later.
