• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Upgrading FTP Server

I use MS FTP and I'll like to change to anything else, likely to Serv-u FTP. Outside of obviously installing the new FTP app, how to I migrate Plesk to use my new FTP instead of the one I've been using?

Are there any articles on this in the KB or in help? I didn't see any, but I'm sure I not the first one to do this...

Thanks for the reference, I didn't see that in the 7.5 help file.

That brings up 2 more question:

1. Can I switch back to MS FTP as easy as I switched to the new FTP?

2. Is there a way to migrate my existing FTP setup (users/domains) to the new one? Does Plesk do this automatically when it sees the new FTP server?
