I just started on my first site.
I made a custom banner in photoshop. I clicked upload from 2. Design and was told that template didn't allow banner upload.

This is a template that I want for my own use. What are my options?

Can I
> Publish the site and then manually replace the banner image?

> Make a clone of the template and replace the banner

> ?

Thanks.

Some banners do not support banner uploading feature. Please check this information here:

Actually, I think it would be possible, but note that during next publications your banner will be overwritten.
Yes, you could clone template and replace banners there. Here you could find more information about custom templates for Sitebuilder http://swdn.swsoft.com/en/library/sitebuilder/

Dmitry,

If I were to do option 1 and change the images manually for the published site - and chmod the permissions on the change files so that they couldn't be overridden, would this allow the rest of the site to publish without removing my custom banner?

Thanks.
