• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Use an external server for mail.

I have a problem with 2 domains

domain 1 is set up as physically hosted.
domain 2 is set up as a forwarding domain to domain 1

When I try and send an e-mail from domain 1 to domain 2, it basically tells me that there is no local mailbox on domain 2.

This is correct, as the mail server is hosted separately. How do I therefore force it to look for this mail server rather than trying to send the mail locally?

Basically I need a setup where the web pages redirect to the other domain (as they do with the forwarding) but the mail goes looking for an external server instead.
