• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Virtual Directory Issue

Whenever we create any virtual directory from plesk it gets created successfully, But when we try to access, we get the following error.

Server Application Unavailable
The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is currently unavailable. Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser to retry your request.

Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific request failure can be found in the application event log of the web server. Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur.

And we do not get any trace. What is wrong about there, as the error does not come into the event viewer? To make this working, we need to remove the virtual directory from the panel and create from IIS.

Is there any workout for this or this is known bug?

Yes, it is known bug and we are working on it.
As possible workaround you can go to domain's web hosting settings and switch PHP to other mode (ISAPI for example). Or you can disable and then enable "Create application" option in virtual folder properties then Plesk creates correct handlers.
