• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Warning when I try to upgrade to the version 12.0.18

New Pleskian
Hello everyone,

Please check attached. When I click upgrade now at the plesk panel I get following error:

Parallels Panel pre-upgrade check...
WARNING: The proftpd FTP service will fail to start in case the support for IPv6 is disabled on the server. Please checkhttp://kb.parallels.com/en/113504 for details.

Is it safe to proceed? I guess it shall be automatically?

Thanks,
Igor

Why don't you just resolve the warnings and enable IPV6? You don't have to be using a V6 IP to have it enabled!!

Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me, will Plesk be automatically updated with new, stable version or I have to do it manually?

Plesk has an auto-update feature. If you didn't disable it, then it will automatically update it self when there is a new release ...

You can set up the Panel update and upgrade policy under

Server Management > Tools & Settings > choose Update and Upgrade Settings under Panel
