• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Weird Webmail Login Problem

One of my domains is experiencing a very weird problem when the customer tries to log into Horde.

On one address, they get a "Login Failed" if they select "POP3 Server", but the same login works if they select "IMAP Server".

Conversely, another address on the same domain only allows them to login if they select "POP3 Server" and fails if they select "IMAP Server"!

What the ...?

I think that /var/log/atmail/error_log or /var/log/psa-horde/psa-horde.log should be investigated first.

It's a Windows box not Linux.

I've switched the domain to use the MailEnable webmail client instead of Horde and that's gotten around the problem for now.
