  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved What Access Does Pleak Have to My Server?

GSMPRO

New Pleskian
Hey guys,

I wanted to know the level of access Plesk has to my server and the domains hosted on my Plesk server account.

Can they know the number of sites or the domain names hosted there?

Just thought about this.

Yes, anonymized data is collected and used for improving user experience. This includes the number of domains on a server.

Just to avoid any confusion, Plesk employees do not have direct access to your server or data. Only Plesk support staff can have access to your server if you grand them explicit access via the Support SSH Access extension.
