  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Where are the automatic website backups of Pleks stored on the server ?

NMM

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 22.04
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.
I have only been using Plesk for a short time and need your help. Where are the automatic website backups of Pleks stored on the server when connecting to the server with FileZilla? I want to download my last backup before I go to work to fix a problem (I can't log in via the Plesk panel due to a HTTP ERROR 500).

The Plesk backup storage is specified by the DUMP_D variable defined in the /etc/psa/psa. conf configuration file. The default location is /var/lib/psa/dumps.
In order to download a backup, it is best to download it from the GUI, because in the /var/lib/psa/dumps directory you won't find a single file but many control files and directories with parts of the backup.
