  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

This is probably a pretty dumb quetion, but how to do find the root folder? Im new to parallels plesk.

I am using parallels plesk 9.2.3. I have never used plesk before an I am confused about where the root folder is. I click on FileManager and within this folder there are multiple folders such as anon_ftp. cgi-bin, error_docs, httpdocs, ect..
All of the other windows servers I have used have a single root folder. I read some things that made me think that is maybe a linux server, is that correct? If not where do I publish a website? I have got some things to work in the httpdocs folder but I need to implement an ssl, but my site needs to be in one location.

"The root folder for www " is
*/vhosts/domainname.tld/httpdocs

When enabling ssl you in plesk for your domain you can select the open to use httpdocs for ssl or you can select to use httpSdocs for ssl.
