Question WPT Smart Update - Elementor Pro, Yoast Premium Don't update

FutureX

Basic Pleskian
Server operating system version
AlmaLinux 8.7 (Stone Smilodon)
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian Version 18.0.48
In WPT if you "Check for updates" it doesn't see Elementor Pro or Yoast Premium as having updates available even though they show up in the Updates section of WordPress.

How do you get it to see ALL the updates available? and then have Smart Updates do the update?

It's possible that WP Toolkit doesn't see those updates because the updates is done through a third party via licensing lookup verification which WP Toolkit on it's own cannot do. Just a theory, though.

I thought about that but on the Plugins in WordPress I can just click 'Update' on Elementor Pro when there is an update and it will update it. This tells me all the data is there so it can do the update but WPT doesn't recognize that?

More info:

Oh, I can see how Elementor Pro might not work because the Pro version is coded to that specific domain name and if WPT makes a subdomain then it's not licensed for that sub domain.

But then I just checked on Elementor's website and it says they do support certain subdomains with the main Pro license.

And then more checking I see that WPT doesn't really make a subdomain but a hidden folder ".wp-toolkit_I" where it copies the existing site to do the testing. I was able to login to WordPress on the subfolder and use Elementor Pro so that isn't a problem.

Still no answer from Plesk on this?? I forgot about this thread and am having the SAME problem.

If you bought your license from a reseller, your reseller should provide support for you. If the reseller does not provide support, here is an alternative:

Same problem. The issue is not just with Elementor Pro. It seems they didn't include a method to update many paid plugins and Themes that use their own update server for licensed plugins... this seems like a huge oversight as it renders wp-toolkit useless for many production sites. This is a basic Wordpress function that really should be working with Toolkit.
