• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

XML Error

Had a SiteBuilder install up and running fine (for the past few months) and today needed to change the IP of the hosting server. Once the IP change was completed any attempts to access the SiteBuilder system now return -- XML error: syntax error at line 1

Removed the sb_temp folder (within the temp folder) as well as completely removed and re-installed the SiteBuilder RPM (for SuSe 9.1), the problem persists even after the fresh re-install.

Has anyone encountered this problem before? If so, what was your solution?

Thank you,
Jason Z.

That's very interesting. 1 week later, 15 views but no replies.

I actually got a reply back from SWsoft regarding this issue. Their only course of action is want access into the box, no troubleshooting items or tips as to what 'gotcha' might have been triggered (even after no system changes). If I let every company have root access into my servers I wonder exactly how long I'd still own my servers.
