• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved ZIP extension PHP

By default, zip extension is already loaded for Plesk PHP versions. For example:

# /opt/plesk/php/7.2/bin/php -m | grep zip
zip

Hi
I do not have it. My script has a tester, which checks the installed parts and it says that ZIP is missing (for backing up the data relevant) .
Does it maybe mean another ZIP extension ? Maybe for apache?

Could you please describe in details how do you run your script? If it works in the scope of one of your Plesk domains, what PHP version is used for this domain?

Hi yes of course,

I use php 7.0.hosted on ubuntu server with the latest plesk version. I also found the solution.

First this with SSH
# apt-get install php7.2-zip

And then restart Apache. Thats all.

Btw IgorG for the affort:)
