• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

zone template plesk 9.2.1 with server behind hardware firewall(using NAT)

deepa

Basic Pleskian
The server is behind firewall( using NAT)
I am trying to set dns zone template with external IP on this server dns settings
Since by default its picking the internal Ip for A type resource records for newly created domains.

As per documentation I have removed all 'A' type records and added new records with IP address as external Ip.

However even after changing dns zone template ,for the newly created domains dns settings still are showing the internal IP.

I have the same Issue. Fresh Installation plesk 9.2.1 with Bind Nameserver. Changed the <ip> Parameter in the template to a IP Address. Plesk ignores this setting on new domain creation.

Same problem creating domains, running SimpleDNS

My Zone Template Settings use the external IP address but that IP is ignored upon domain creation and the internal NAT'd IP address is used by PLESK instead when creating records.
