Issue FTP Restore does not copy any files or databases

I have an issue restoring an FTP backup to another server. I tired this from Plesk Onyx 17.5 to 17.5, as well as 17.5 to 17.8. Both servers run CentOS 7. The subscription has a single WordPress installation on it (no mail), and I'm using WordPress Toolkit on both servers. The restore finishes...

Resolved Windows 10 Mail Setup with Plesk Onyx

Never mind, it was an issue of an awkward screen resolution: scrolling down under Account Setup did indeed provide me with an Advanced Setup under Windows 10, in which I could provide Windows with the details it needed to connect to Plesk - and to my great surprise and joy, it figured out all...

Resolved Windows 10 Mail Setup with Plesk Onyx

Can someone help me setup Plesk Mail under Windows 10? I mean the integrated Email client that now comes as part of Windows 10 (Creator's Update 2017). It appears to have been so "dumbed down" that I can't figure out how to setup ports and authentication options anymore. Everything is...

Issue Plesk serves expired Mail certificates despite updated ones being installed

Hello all, I have a rather weird issue with securing mail on a Plesk Onyx system. Recently, my mail certificates expired. So I thought, time to renew it. At first I tried doing this with the same CSR as before, just getting a new certificate and replacing it in Plesk, leaving the CA certs...

Resolved Updates & Upgrades not working

Is port 8447 open? It needs to be, otherwise the page can't load.

    Question cc destinataries limit?

That still means Plesk needs to send 40 individual emails.

    Question Mysql is down

Have you tried restarting MySQL? I believe on Ubuntu it's sudo service mysql restart

    Question cc destinataries limit?

It is possible that the outgoing messages limitation isn't letting the email through to 40 users. By default, Plesk lets an account send 10 emails per hour. Check if this feature is active under Tools and Settings - Mail Server.

    Question Plesk ftps and rsync?

There are no file size limitations than I'm aware of: anything the file system supports, Plesk will support. So if you have 2TB of storage, and you'd want to upload a 2TB file, you're good to go if you have an EXT3 or EXT4 partition. Beware of upload timeouts though...

Issue Mailserver does not work "out of the box"

I don't think this is a Plesk issue, it's your server's hostname that's not setup. I had this before too, you get CBL blacklisted because the server's name is localhost.localdomain. Spammers often don't change this, either because they're in a hurry or because they don't want to give away their...

    Mail Certificates: An interesting puzzle

Hi Igor, indeed - that's the very TLS test I'm using, and it returns the correct certificate. All tests pass with flying colours. I've tried "plesk repair mail", thanks for the tip! It didn't find any trouble. The problem persists.

    Mail Certificates: An interesting puzzle

Hello abdi! Good call, there's no domain, subscription or subdomain mail.domain.com, but in my testing I have set one up to see if that makes a difference. It did not, I got the same behaviour and subsequently deleted it again. I've also reset the DNS settings to their defaults, just in case...

    Mail Certificates: An interesting puzzle

Hello all, I was working on a Plesk 12.5 server running CentOS 6.7 yesterday. I’ve patched the mail certificates for Courier as outlined in the KB article (https://kb.odin.com/en/1062). This has worked flawlessly many times before on other systems, but not this time. Even though a TLS check...

    postfix/master ............Connection refused

The KB article didn't work for me, but commenting out those two default statements certainly removed the error message from the logs. Having said that, apart from the error in the logs, I did not have an issue sending or receiving mail on the system (Plesk 12.0 on CentOS 7). It worked fine out...

    not work any domain http://

Could be the fierce firewalld service in CentOS 7. Try disabling it temporarily and see if those websites come alive: systemctl stop firewalld If your sites work with the firewall down, try installing the Plesk Firewall extension and activate it. This will allow Plesk to manage the service and...

    Google PageSpeed Module

I think mod_pagespeed is an Apache module, not an nginx module. Here's how I installed in on CentOS 6 - perhaps it helps: http://wpguru.co.uk/2014/03/how-to-install-apache-mod_pagespeed-on-centos-with-plesk/

How to install php 5.5 in my Plesk 12

If you're not worried about multiple PHP versions and would like to upgrade PHP on the entire server, the easiest way I know is to install the Atomic repo (CentOS / RHEL): wget -q -O - http://www.atomicorp.com/installers/atomic.sh | sh Followed by: yum update Check with: php -v

Plesk Backup Manager download large backup files takes to long!

Are those backups created on the server repository? And are you trying to download those to your local machine (i.e. laptop/desktop for safekeeping)?

Plesk 12 picks loopback IP when installing on CentOS 7

Thanks UFHH01, that's a great tip - I forget about the simple things. Love the new forum look by the way, I haven't been here for a while. All the best!

Plesk 12 picks loopback IP when installing on CentOS 7

I found the problem: firewalld On CentOS 6 we have to add rules to iptables to let incoming requests through to Plesk. In CentOS 7 iptables have been replaced with firewalld, but the principle of opening ports is still the same: firewall-cmd --zone=public --add-port=8443/tcp --permanent...
