With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.

Plesk version 12.5.30 Update #33, last updated at May 25, 2016 11:39 AM

I have a domain alias that I point to our main site and I need an email for it also. When I go to setup an email for it, the domain alias is not listed as an option to create an email.

Any suggestions?

A domain alias is very restricted.
1) You cannot have an independent email from that of the main domain - for that you would need to create a new subscription for the domain alias and set up domain forwarding to the main domain - but gives you independent aliasdomain.com mail addresses.
2) You can however use an email set up at the main domain also as the aliases domain one. They will be merged into one. IE [email protected] and [email protected] will end up in the same mailbox.

Thats pretty much the two choices you have, depending on your requirements

Cheers,
Tom
