• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Again, errors on update

Basic Pleskian

Command: autoinstaller
Arguments: Array

[0] => --select-product-id
[1] => plesk
[2] => --select-release-current
[3] => --upgrade-installed-components
)

Details:
BUSY: Update operation was locked by another update process.

# service psa restart

Manual install - worked.

Could be:

1. You have autoupdates switched on, so at the time of clicking the auto-updates was already running
2. You had earlier clicked the update button, or you were clicking it the second time ...

Hmm

No... autoupdates is off. I clicked on update, indeed, but only saw the first screen with the "continue" button, then clicked on cancel. That should've unlocked it.

Ok, anyway.

Side note... to be able to run a cron from a subscription's user, that user needs access to ssh?

Hmm

I had a cron that refused to work, even though the paths were correct.

cr /var/www/vhosts/blabla/cron.php -> no such file or directory

run the same as root -> working

enable access -> working.

Did you use the full path to PHP eg

Code:
/usr/bin/php /var/www/vhosts/blabla/cron.php

Yes. Even CD'd, because, for some reason, it has to be in the same folder when running the php script. Otherwise, paths are broken.

cd /var/www/vhosts/zzz.com/httpdocs/cron/ ; /usr/bin/php /var/www/vhosts/zzz.com/httpdocs/cron/apns.php

From that thread, it looks, indeed, that I was right. Shell execution of script is restricted, unless you grant it.

So either I disable that feature or grant access from admin.
