• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

Automated scheduled update Plesk 11 has failed after installing mytop

Plesk11User

New Pleskian
I am having issues with autoinstaller updates of Plesk 11 on my VPS.
Two days ago I followed some tutorial on installing mytop, to explore slow MySQL queries on one
of my sites. One of the steps in this tutorial required to install 'rpmforge'.

Is there any way to fix the issue with Plesk update but not remove 'mytop' from the system? (this utility was very helpful to me)

Here is the Plesk autoupdate log:

WARNING: Third-party Yum repository 'rpmforge' is enabled, installation may fail.

Since you use one or more 3rd-party repos (say, atomic), be careful when installing different package versions from different repos as this may lead to installation failures. For example, you may encounter a problem if you first install PHP from a 3rd-party repo and then upgrade it using the Parallels repo. To avoid such situations, install and upgdare packages from the same repo.
