New Pleskian
When setting an autoreply in Plesk, there is an option "Send an automatic response to a unique email address no more than (times a day) *". This used to work in previous versions of Plesk, but this option is no longer honered in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.xxx, at least in our setup. This is problematic, as it results in back-and-forth loops when our Plesk autoresponder encounters another autoresponder that also doesn't honor a max per day, resulting in a back-and-forth autoresponder loop.
We now recommend our clients to set autoreplies directly in SmarterMail and igore Plesk, which solves the issue. However, some clients continue to use Plesk to manage their autoresponders, so they end up with full mailboxes when they return from their absence.
Would have submitted this as a bug report, but since submitting bug reports is not possible, I decided to drop the problem here, in hopes someone of the development team sees it and decides it's a bug worth fixing.
We're using SmarterMail as our mail server and we use the Solarwinds in and outgoing spam filter (using the Plesk plugin).
