• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

I am new to plesk and having an issue with the backup feature. I've spent an hour searching these forums with no luck so I'll post and see if anyone has run into this before.

I have three clients, using 2 gigs, 700 megs, and 4 gigs.

If I backup the entire server using the pleskbackup command, the resulting file is 64 megs, if I backup the 2 gig client using the plesk backup option in the client's panel, the resulting file is 46 megs.

I'm quite sure it's not getting everything, as the 2 gig client is almost entirely jpegs and zip files which are compressed already!

What am I missing here? I'm guessing it's a permission issue but I have no idea what that'd entail.
