Issue Backup Manager Schedule

In the Backup Manager > Schedule, we have setup Keep backup files for 5 weeks - before the upgrade to Onyx, these used to be deleted automatically from the FTP storage.

However since the upgrade the backup files in the FTP storage so not get deleted hence after 7/8 the FTP starts failing due to low disk space. Do we have the enable or disable something to have the backup manager delete the old files from the FTP storage?

If a standart "disable" and "re-enable" procedure for the scheduled task doesn't already solves your issue, pls. consider to attach the latest backup - log - file, so that people willing to help you have something to start with the investigations.

Issue 1 - Unable to find last incremental backup, because of current backup has no version mark in the file name

... points to a known previous bug, which should have been solved with "Plesk Onyx 17.0.17 Update 21" (PPPM-5919) .
Pls. consider to us the command:

plesk installer --select-product-id plesk --select-release-current --reinstall-patch --install-component base

... to reinstall all previous patches and updates and create another manual FULL backup afterwards, to see, if this already solved your issue.

again, I assume that creating a FULL backup manually should solve the issue, as you have to have at least one FULL backup without issues/errors/problems. The error messages:

File dump-header not found on first position in archive

... point to missing parts, which you should be existent, because incremental backups only backup changes to the latest backup.

Pls. consider to read as well: => Incremental Backup


After ( successfully ) creating ONE FULL backup, consider as well to move all other backups into a separate folder ( i.e. /backup.backup ) and when the next automatic scheduled backup has been finished without issues, you are save to delete the "/backup.backup" folder.

- The moved old backups files to another folder.
- create a Full backup on ftp
- log file increased in size from 1.5 Meg to 113 Megs
