• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

New Pleskian
Hi,
I have a server configured with plesk 12.0 and before upgrading to onyx I want to do a full backup of the server.
We use roudcube to read our emails.
So I would like to know if by choosing the option "backup of the configuration of the server and content" I will find after the restoration all my emails in the roundcube folders as they are today?

Yes, the full server backup includes backing up all mailboxes. It does not include backing up the operating system or system state. Most issues with upgrades are based on library incompatibilities, missing files, mismatching versions etc. These cannot be solved by a restore. But it should be possible to restore a Plesk installation including all emails in case of a system crash to a new working Plesk installation.
