How can I add a small banner and have it default to the left (not the right)?

Actually, each template has it's own properties and default banner size and location. If default templates are not suitable for you, it is possible to create custom template with help of Parallels Plesk Sitebuilder SDK http://www.parallels.com/ptn/download/sdk/ and Custom Templates Developer's Guide - http://www.parallels.com/ptn/documentation/sitebuilder/
