Hello,
last year I wrote a small PHP script and a HMTL file which allowed me to upload images into the MySQL DB on my STRATO server (virtual server linux level 2 v1503.a3/12). I also wrote an automatic email confirmation that a file was uploaded (a mail was sent to the address of the person who uploaded the file).
Both file upload and email send worked perfectly.
Unfortunately since November 2015 it does not work at all.
I do have my last pictures uploaded on Nov. 19th 2015.
Since then I had a different project and I did not work on this issue. Now I am returning to my hobby project and facing the same problem as 6 month ago.
My PHP and HTML sources are in GIT - they have been working fine till Nov. 2015 and now they don't.
Besides they still work on my local XAMPP installation on my local host.
Therefore I strongly assume there is no error in the code.
So it must have been a change at STRATO which changed the conditions and is now the problem.
Of course I did check the php.ini
* config is /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini (PHP version 5.5.9-1, ubuntu 4.14),
* file_uploads is ON,
* upload_tmp_dir is /var/www/tmp (with all read&write; chmod 777),
* max_file_uploads is 50,
* upload_max_filesize is 128M,
* post_max_size 100M
