Cant get Migration Manager to work

C

I am attempting to move our Plesk installation on to a new server.

I have installed plesk on the new server and now I'm trying to get PMM to work.

I have installed PMM on the new server and installed "pmm_agent_build070504.17.msi" agent on the old server.

The agent starts without any obvious errors.

I then select "Migration Manager" from the control panel and recieve the following message:

"Error: Unable to upload scout: Unable to run migrmng: Unhandled error ocurred. For more details, refer to the log file."

I can not locate any log file so cannot find what the error is...

Any help would be very appreciated.
Chris

Hello!

The log files placed at <PLESK_DIR>\PMM\Logs\. Please, look here.

If you have no such folder, please create folder "Logs" manualy, start migration manager again and look for log files.

Thanks.

Thank you for the reply...

There was no Log directory, so I created it and tried again... still the same error, but still no log files.

I have checked the whole C drive for any new/modified files anywhere and cannot find a thing...

Regards
Chris

Strange error. Could you run manually from command line

<PLESK_DIR>\admin\bin\migrmng.exe --deploy-scout --host=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX --login=AdminLogin --password=AdminPassword --system-type=windows >C:\1.txt

where XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX - target remote host,
AdminLogin, AdminPassword - Administrative Login and Password

(data you enter at first page)

and look for log files and file c:\1.txt.

If there is no errors in this test the Migration Agent should be restarted on the remoe host.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you...

I ran the code as requested and the following is what I found in 1.txt

Unhandled error ocurred. For more details, refer to the log file.

Not very helpful ...

Kindest Regards
Chris
