Hello,
My server is a Windows 2008 machine with Plesk 8.6
It seems that there's an issue with the FTP service.
Upon login (using passive mode) i get:
Response: 425 Can't open data connection.
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing
I checked the passive port range in Plesk and is set to 1025-5000
I also noticed this message on Plesk:
"Information: Warning: due to active Windows Firewall and Windows Application Layer Gateway Service (ALGS) not allowing to use a custom passive FTP ports range, it is recommended to switch ALGS off. If ALGS service is switched on, passive FTP ports range will be set to default 5001-65535, ignoring any custom values. Refer to Microsoft Windows help files for the information on how to switch ALGS off."
ALGS is indeed off on the machine.
Though, i still get the error.
Any ideas?
I have not changed the windows firewall rules.
Thank you
