• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Resolved Cgroups not showing in Services Management

Hi,

I'm setting up a new server to migrate my domains from an old server.

I've installed the Cgroups component from the updates-> add/remove components but when I go to Tools Manager -> Service Management there's no entry for Resource Controller/cgroups.

I've uninstalled and installed the component several times and it doesn't show any errors when installing.

I'm operating on a temporary license (Web Host) provided by Plesk, but when the migration is over it will be WebPro, if that's any help.

Hi, @JVG . It's expected for the Plesk Web Host Edition for Migration (90 Days Trial) license to be missing the component. Once you replace the trial license with your actual WebPro license you should be able to see. If Cgroups Manager is critical for the trial license in your case, I can ask our team to add it. Just PM me the license number.

Thanks @Sebahat.hadzhi,

it's not a critical feature, but a couple of questions: since I'm using Plesk Migrator, will the previous configurations on the subscriptions carry over once the license is replaced? Also, should I leave the component installed or wait until the license is replaced?

I believe the configuration should be preserved, but I am not 100% sure. I will test the scenario and follow up with confirmation. Thank you for your patience in the meantime.

@JVG , I tested the migration to a destination server with a trial license. After I replaced the trial license with a regular one, the "RAM, CPU, Disk I/O" section for service plans reappeared, however, the configuration seems to be reset to the default "Unlimited" settings.
