Whenever I provisioned the site using Plesk, it sets IIS' default documents numerous index.*followed by default.htm, default.asp, default.aspx.

I am searching for a way to reconfigure Plesk so that it provisions IIS with default.* listed before index.*

any and all ideas will be helpful thank you in advance

If you have administrator access to the server you can log into IIS manager and then find your site in the list and go to properties. Once in the properties for the site choose the documents tab and you can change the order here or add new default document names.

Hi,

If you configure index pages on the main web site of the IIS, thereafter if you add the domain it will inherite the index pages.

IIS manager -> Right click on Web sites ( Parallel to application pool, and FTP sites)
