• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

My question is for the ISPs that are using Plesk to provide a control panel to their customers:

Have you created 1 client account for your company and add all of your customers(domains) under that client?

OR

Have you created a client and a domain per your customer?

We will set the Plesk environment for our customers soon, so I was wondering which option would be better for troubleshooting, etc...

Thank you very much for sharing your experiences with me.

Regards,

It depends on how you're doing business. For single domain shared hosting I use the 'company' client and add these customers and their domains there.

But if you want to allow reselling, create the new client. That will enable him/her to have his customers and their domains under him/her.
