• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Convert from Directdmin to Plesk

We are moving from a DirectAdmin server to Rackspace which uses Plesk.

I couldn't find any migration tool for this. Does anybody know of any.
I don't care that much about the emails. I just want to be able to easily move about 100 domains and mysql databases, etc without pulling my hair out.

I even though about migrating from directadmin to cpanel, and then from cpanel to plesk.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Dan,

We were faced with migrating 200 virtual accounts from a DirectAdmin host to one of our Plesk Servers. We ended
up using the Website Movers Service. The process was very slow and was not pretty. Even the Website Movers complained about the job and the difficulty of it. The Web Site movers eventually developed a scipt that allowed them to move and deploy 30 accounts at a time. The problem was that it created
access rights issues for many of the files associated with the domain. The Web Site movers did complete the project. If I were
to do it again I would have moved them myself manually.

I hope this helps.
