Creating files using php

Ive seen this question asked a few places but couldnt see any answers.

When a client uses php to create a file, apache is creating the file with the user and group set to apache:apache.

This in turn creates problems as the client has difficulty writing to it, for some reason

Does anyone know the answer to this problem?

Thanks,

Dan

hello,

yeah this had always been a big problem with php.

I'd suggest - try suPHP. Then php will work with different users, I've no other suggestion.

kind regards
manuel
