Default MySQL privileges

I have to manually run

update user set Create_tmp_table_priv = 'N', Lock_tables_priv = 'N' WHERE user = USERNAMEHERE;

for each new mysql user created in Plesk. Is there a way to set the default mysql user priv?

I don't want my users to be able to see other databases than their own.

Did you upgrade to Mysql 4.0.x and you didn't fix the privilege tables?

No - I ran the script. However - the privileges are still set so that they can view others databases upon creation.

Hi guys,

What is that what I read about fixing the privilege tables?

Not to long ago I started with Plesk 7.5.3 and I didn't fix these tables. Could you let me know what the fix is and where to apply it? I gather that the fix solves the issue with clients looking at tables which doesn't belong to them?

I'm using mysql 4.1.11 and PSA 7.5.4

Thanks!

Thanks!

I just ran the script and it seems that everything was already fixed.
