what directory can users use to FTP private data into their domain directory. I'm not sure that httdocs is the best place, we dont want Apache to be able to read them.

I want to offer private backup service to my customer, they would have some space in their domain directory to backup their PC.

    Regards,

    Flupke

Plesk has a backup manager built in. There's also the private directory that is outside the document root and can be accessed via FTP.

I wouldn't do that. That's a directory that is served up by apache.
