  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

DNS : SOA Serial

Frank.P

Regular Pleskian
SOA Serial
SOA REFRESH
SOA RETRY
SOA EXPIRE
SOA MINIMUM TTL

This are all items of DNS and by default set that :

SOA Serial = 0
Pass SOA REFRESH = 10800. That is OK
Pass SOA RETRY = 3600. Looks ok
Pass SOA EXPIRE = 604800.Looks ok
Pass SOA MINIMUM TTL = 10800 is OK (RFC2308 recommends a value of 1-3 hours)

___________________

SOA Serial always is set to 0 and this is a wrong setting.

I have checked SOA template in Tools & Settings -> DNS Settings -> SOA Records Template and found that SOA MINIMUM TTL = 3 hours by default. What do you mean that SOA Serial = 0? Where is it? Maybe you need to enable "Use serial number format recommended by IETF and RIPE" option?

Try update SOA for this domain with

# /usr/local/psa/bin/dns --update-soa mi-hosting.es

and then check Serial number with

# dig mi-hosting.es soa +short

MSDOS
_______

C:\Parallels\Plesk\bin>dns --update-soa mi-hosting.es
SUCCESS: Updating SOA record for mi-hosting.es

C:\Parallels\Plesk\dns\bin>dig mi-hosting.es soa +short
dns1.mi-hosting.es. soporte.mi-hosting.es. 0 10800 3600 604800 10800

Sorry, but I can't reproduce it on my test environment and I haven't got a clue why you have 0 Serial number there. Therefore I suggest you contact Support Team.
