Issue Drweb won't start in new Debian12 installation

JVG

Basic Pleskian
Server operating system version
Debian 12.5
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian 18.0.59.1
Hello,

I'm starting to set up a new Debain 12 server with Plesk, both brand-new installations:
Code:
Product version: Plesk Obsidian 18.0.59.1
     OS version: Debian 12.5 x86_64

When installing DrWeb the following error shows:
Code:
Copyright (c) Igor Daniloff, 1992-2024
Doctor Web, Moscow, Russia
Support service: http://support.drweb.com
To purchase: http://buy.drweb.com
Key file: /opt/drweb/drweb32.key - Key file was not found! (No such file or directory)
A path to a valid license key file was not specified.
Plesk authorization failed: HTTP request error [35]
Error: Plesk Software not running

I've seen there's quite a few old threads about this, so far I've tried these solutions:

None of these have worked. I've also run plesk repair with no errors.

Full disclosure, I figured I set up the basic configurations for the new server with the trial license and then purchase an actual paid license before going live with the new server. If that's the issue I have no problem waiting to install drweb after I get the plesk license.

Update: I just purchased the Plesk license and got the same error when installing Premium Plesk Antivirus through the plesk installer.

The message on the license key is correct. The product works without license for a random number of domains. I think it's 15 mailboxes. If you want to use it on more mailboxes you need to purchase "Plesk Premium Antivirus" for the Premium Antivirus to have its own license key.

Thanks, Peter,

right now there are 0 domains and 0 mailboxes on the server. Again, I'm just setting up basic configurations before going live (since I've already got the plesk license it'll go sooner than expected).

"Plesk Premium Antivirus" (drwebd service) still does not start.

Oh, I see. For me this was not clear that it's an issue with the software that won't start at all. I thought you focussed on the license message.

Have you already seen this article: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/...sk-authorization-failed-HTTP-request-error-35
O.k., I now see that you already have. But it's very likely explaining the root cause and gives a solution.

If this solution does not work, please contact Plesk support. Another tweak with ciphers might be required, but an engineer will need to check it on your server.
