I have the same problem, Plesk Onyx 17.5.3. CentOS 7; Windows2012
Error: server "server"
Unable to resume an interrupted upload. It seems like FTP server deleted the file, when the connection was lost. For Windows is possible to solve the problem temporary, by deleting all from Plesk/backup.
It happens only on Onyx, Plesk 12.5 works fine. All servers use the same ftp server.

Am also getting some error.

Error: server "server"
Curl error: Unable to resume an interrupted upload: (55) Failed sending data to the peer: Last FTP request: APPE backup_1803271530.zip: Last FTP response: 150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for backup_1803271530.zip: Connection to the FTP server has lost

The error "Failed sending data to the peer" means an FTP server closes a connection during backup creation. It is most likely some timeouts exceed on the FTP server side and you should tune them.
